Baygo is an exciting new fast casual restaurant in the City of London, providing the City with a fresh taste of the Caribbean, and most importantly… sunshine. Eat in, take-away or order for office catering.
The Baygo mission is to innovate and change the perception of what Caribbean food is and can be, and the menu has translated traditional island dishes to fit the fast-paced City lifestyle. Open for breakfast and lunch, each dish has been carefully curated using the highest quality ingredients.
Start your day the Baygo way with a breakfast range that includes cornmeal and oatmeal porridge made with coconut milk (and toppings that include hibiscus or guava jams, tropical fruit and chocolate); a Sausage & Egg Sunrise Bun that comes with a specially-jerked sausage for extra flavour; the vegan-friendly Ackee Ital Pot, served with Jamaica’s national fruit ackee, sweet and spicy beans, avocado, spinach and roasted tomatoes – delicious.
Lunchtime favourites include the tasty Island One Pots: Curry Goat and Curry Chicken are served with rice, plantain, sunshine slaw, whilst The Creole Pot is a fish-filled version. Fresh from the fridge, the Rainbow Salads are also not to be missed with the Jerk Chicken Caesar adding a Caribbean twist to an old favourite and the vegan Jerk Sweet Potato salad proving sunshine food makes a sunshine mood. Chicken, prawn and falafel wraps also prove perfect as an on-the-go island-flavoured lunch. Perfect for individuals or as sharing platters, the City is spoilt for choice whether dining out or ordering in.
Dedicated to bringing five minutes of sunshine to City meal-times, Baygo is a place of good food, good vibes and friendly faces. A small and welcoming space, the bright lights, floral decorations, Caribbean music and good vibes draw you in and ensure you feel the sunshine immediately.
