Carisbrooke Hall celebrates re-opening with gala dinner

To mark the re-opening of Carisbrooke Hall and its recent £1 million refurbishment, over 80 buyers and industry professionals were invited to a gala dinner last week.

Guests included event organisers from Right Angle Corporate Ltd and Osney Media, while representatives from key industry bodies including London and Partner and ABPCO also attended.

Located within the Victory Services Club, situated by Marble Arch, London, the hall boasts a capacity of up to 300 guests.

On the night, guests were treated to a drinks reception in the El Alamein & Trafalgar Suite, while the dinner was held in the Carisbrooke Hall for a welcome from the Club’s chairman, Rear Admiral Mike Kimmons and a presentation by the CEO and Club Secretary, Air Commodore Nigel Beet, about the Club.

“The Carisbrooke Hall offers organisers a unique and unusual event space that is perfect for so many specific markets,” said Tracy Halliwell MBE, director of business tourism and major events at London & Partners.

“The CSR values of the Club will appeal to many companies looking to give something back whilst still holding a professional event.”

During the meal, diners were also entertained by the Royal Air Force Salon Orchestra, one of the many military bands which has played at the Club.

Heather Lishman, association director at the ABPCO, added: “It was fabulous to see the newly refurbished Carisbrooke Hall tonight. This space gives true flexibility for association bookings, and I am positive that it will be well received by ABPCO members looking for a central London location.

“The values of the VSC shine through, and the added benefit of it ticking CSR boxes on behalf of a great cause gives many compelling reasons to book.  I look forward to hearing of its success.”
