De Vere appoints new Director of Sales for Latimer and Horsley Estates

De Vere has announced the appointment of Nitesh Lama as its Director of Sales for De Vere Latimer Estate in Buckinghamshire and De Vere Horsley Estate in Surrey.

Nitesh joins the group with over 14 years’ experience working in sales, with over 12 years spent working in the hospitality industry where he has implemented successful sales strategies for a wide range of UK hotels. Nitesh joins from his most recent role as Corporate Sales Manager at the Holiday Inn Kensington High Street. Nitesh also previously worked at Staybridge Suites Heathrow, Holiday Inn London Heathrow, as well as Sofitel, Novotel and Mercure Hotels.

Set in the heart of Buckinghamshire, De Vere Latimer Estate offers 21st-century comfort and style within in 30 acres of grounds in an area steeped in history, culture, and natural beauty. De Vere Latimer Estate boasts a rich history that dates back to the 16th Century when the original house held Charles I during his imprisonment. The red brick Tudor-style mansion house standing today was completed in 1838 and became the temporary host of captured German U-boat submarine crews and Luftwaffe pilots during the Second World War before becoming the National Defence College until 2006.

De Vere Horsley Estate, located in East Horsley, Surrey, is set in acres of Surrey parkland surrounded by perfectly manicured grounds and a large lake. The property is home to the historic Horsley Towers which can be seen in Netflix’s award-winning series The Crown. Horsley Towers has recently undergone a multi-million-pound transformation, which has seen its event spaces, including the iconic Great Hall, renovated to ensure the property retains many of its original features dating back to 1822.
