Nominations for the One4all Spotlight Awards have now been extended until Friday, 7 July, providing UK companies with additional time to nominate exceptional staff and provide recognition for their outstanding work.
The One4all Spotlight Awards is a free-to-enter awards scheme that recognises the best employees in 20 different categories, including Employee of the Year, across 14 industries, with customer service, professional services, high street retail and property and construction being just some of the sectors recognised.
Declan Byrne, managing director at the One4all Rewards said: โWe have already received a large amount of high-quality nominations from employers across various industries. But we want to ensure all deserving employees receive recognition for their hard work and efforts, which is why we have extended the nominations deadline.
โWe hope that this deadline extension will allow more time for SMEs to nominate their staff and reward them for their exceptional work. Quite often smaller businesses are so busy focusing on growth that it can be hard to find the time to thank staff in addition to servicing customers and clients.
โRecent research we conducted found that 64% of British workers โloveโ or โreally likeโ their jobs, with many workers willing to go the extra mile for their employer to ensure the success of the company. This highlights how conscientious and devoted the British workforce is. However, employers should note that even the most dedicated employees were unwilling to forgo tangible rewards and benefits. And as such it is important to provide meaningful rewards when possible, for those workers who go the extra mile.โ
Each category winner will be awarded with a ยฃ100 One4all Gift Card and trophy, while the grand prix-style Employee of the Year Award winner will receive a ยฃ300 One4all Gift Card, which can be spent in more than 50,000 stores nationwide, as well as access to a VIP awards ceremony.
New for 2017, category winners will also be invited to a special event to receive their prizes, where the overall Employee of the Year award will also be announced.
Other categories include Team of the Year, celebrating exceptional teamwork, an Entrepreneur/Self-Employed award for those with entrepreneurial flair or working for themselves, and an Unsung Hero award for those deserving of recognition who donโt tend to get noted for their efforts often.
The judges will also select a grand prix-style Employee of the Year from the 20 category winners, to be named the UKโs best employee. Nomination is free, only takes five minutes to complete via three easy steps and can be logged on the website until 7 July.
The awards will be judged by a panel of independent experts from the business world and a representative from One4all Rewards. For more information and to nominate, please visit spotlightawards.one4allrewards.co.uk.
