Friday fun: Super Human Resources

talkRADIO launches Badass Women's Hour

Looking for a bit of light reading to pick up on your lunch break? Comics arenโ€™t everybodyโ€™s โ€œthingโ€, but publisher Action Lab is set to print a new series based on its storyline about a human resources temp who works for a group of bumbling superheroes called Super Human Resources.

The story is about Tim, a HR temp who has already thwarted bankruptcy and fought off an office machine robot uprising while trying to deal with the clumsy superheroes surrounding him. It takes a light-hearted look at the world of masked crusaders and puts it into real-life context by examining what goes on behind the scenes at superhero organisations โ€“ all for the sake of a good laugh.

Comic book and entertainment news site Newsarama interviewed Super Human Resources Writer/Creator Ken Marcus, who said: โ€œIf youโ€™ve ever read a comic book and if youโ€™ve ever had a terrible job, then donโ€™t worry. Youโ€™re already up to speed.โ€

The first series of comics is available to buy at comic stores or on Amazon and the second series will be released later this year.
