Hand Picked Hotels, a family-owned collection of British country house hotels, has announced its new meetings and events proposition.
Inspired Meetings & Events will be available across the collection’s hotels, providing facilities for corporate offsites in stunning locations across the UK.

We see the positive impact of these events on boosting wellbeing and productivity, so have reimagined our offering to cater for all groups and occasions.”
Following a challenging year for many businesses as teams have been unable to connect with their colleagues in-person, Hand Picked Hotels has set out to create exciting experiences for companies to thank their employees for their hard work and reunite teams. The new proposition will consist of three main offerings: Inspired Meetings, Corporate Retreats and Team Building.
Inspired Meetings are ideal for one-day or one-night meetings, training events or conferences, and can be catered for any size group from just two people in a boardroom, right up to a whole organisation of 400. Guests can take advantage of traditional meeting rooms and conference centres or opt for the group’s ‘sky-is-the-limit’ experience, offering bespoke extra touches.
Corporate Retreats give the option to take over an entire venue or, an area of a venue for exclusive use. Hand Picked Hotels’ event specialists will curate high-end experiences and lead itineraries for groups to include team building activities, leisure time in the health club/spa, formal or relaxed dining throughout the stay as required, drinks receptions or interactive drink activities.
Team Building offers a wide range of activities, with anything from archery, quad biking, duck-herding and assault courses, to chocolate-making, wine-tasting, cocktail-shaking with the hotel’s culinary experts. As Covid restrictions begin to ease, the hotels will cater for smaller-grouped and wellbeing-focused gatherings with informal drinks around a fire pit or games on the lawn.
Hand Picked Hotels’ Food & Drink concept will also relaunch as part of the new Inspired Meetings & Events offering. As an important part of any event, a variety of options will be available from informal burrito bars and pizza vans to nine-course tasting menus with wine pairings. Special touches such as themed gin, rum or Pimms bars and customised donuts with company logos can also be organised for a fun and personalised approach.
All the hotels offer incredible outdoor spaces, providing safe and spacious environments for group activities. From pop-up tents to terraces with heaters, blankets and fire pits, the al fresco areas will be available for private hire.
