The HUB XV community has now reopened the Business Hub at Ascot Racecourse, offering local companies, freelancers and those looking to reclaim their homes for their personal space the opportunity to enjoy a socially distanced co-working community with dedicated desk space and private meeting rooms.
HUB XV at Ascot, which is based on the first floor of the Owners and Trainers Lounge, located off the Old Paddock, has now also been extended into the Old Paddock Suite area. This allows for numerous members to use separate desks and soft seating areas, with appropriate internal circulation space and access to the external lawns below for further space and fresh air. Under new rules, members pre-book a private desk space online prior to arrival to ensure capacities are controlled for social distancing.
HUB XV offers different memberships available to both individuals and companies looking for flexible working solutions at the historic, world class sporting venue. Prices start from just £175 a month for one person’s unlimited use of Ascot HUB XV only, with a selection of membership benefits including high-speed Wi-Fi, ample free parking, printing, copying and scanning and complimentary hot drinks.
“We are delighted to give professionals and corporate teams in the region the opportunity to collaborate, network and grow from a venue of such sporting heritage,” said HUB XV Founder and CEO, Alix Popham.
“We are having some very interesting conversations with people in the local community and large corporates looking for alternative workplace solutions. We are hearing about many restrictions in place for returning to offices, such as dividing the workforce into Teams A and Team B for alternate days to allow for social distancing. Companies are finding a membership to Hub XV works as a capacity extender, allowing a larger number of the team the opportunity to go back to working outside the home.”
Social interaction plays a big role in mental health, and recent research from health.org.uk shows that more than two-thirds of adults in the UK (69%) report feeling somewhat or very worried about the effect Covid-19 is having on their life. Working alone or from home can be isolating and many are looking for external stimulation and a more mentally satisfying way of working. For those unable to go back into an office environment – or those working freelance or part of smaller teams – the flexible HUB XV environment provides a sense of community and face to face social interaction with professionals from a variety of career fields, available as and when needed.
The epitome of British style and tradition, Ascot Racecourse can host a variety of functions with COVID-secure measures in place, including bespoke private events, conferences, summer parties, away days, training days, meetings, product launches, exhibitions, weddings and exclusive Christmas parties.
