It’s Friday, it’s cold and it’s January – time for pizza!

We’ve made it to the end of the first week back to work for most of us following the festive break. The first week in the longest, gloomiest month of the year. So, the team here at PA Life suggest that you ditch the diet plan for now and enjoy some good food – with a discount!

Happy Face Pizza is now open in Victoria, bringing its signature pizzas to Eccleston Yards for its second restaurant in the capital. Expect a fun and modern take on authentic Neapolitan pizzas, cocktails, and curated music.

Open seven days a week for bookings and walk-ins, the pizzeria will welcome diners with a 50% off pizza offer until January 31st.

Offering a fresh take on a classic, Happy Face describes itself as a love letter to Italian food, where authentic Neapolitan pizza takes centre stage. Renowned for its puffy light dough and punchy flavours, made using a 72-hour dough ferment to create a lighter, fluffier crust, expect a concise menu of Neapolitan style pizzas created by Executive Chef Mario Mastrangelo. Options include a classic Margherita and Funghi with tomato, mushrooms, mozzarella, taleggio and artichoke, to the Rucola with mozzarella, rocket, prosciutto crudo and parmesan, and the Vegan Pepperoni, along with gluten-free bases and ‘Extra Happiness’ toppings to pimp up your slice.

Pair pizzas with a selection of classic Italian antipasti including cured meats, zucchini fritti and burratina, alongside what they believe to be the best gelato in London and dolci, including the Italian staple Tiramisu. The bar offers Italian wines, beers, and cocktails, including three variations on the beloved Negroni, from a Classicoto Low-groni with lillet, peach and bitters.

A better tasting pizza and a better price, Happy Face Pizza ensures no inflated mark-ups, offering great value for money with pizzas priced from £5, with cocktails from £6.50.

From the team behind Spiritland, curated music across the impressive sound system brings an up-tempo vibe late into the night, making it the place to go for meetups with friends, after-work drinks, and parties.

Located on Eccleston Place, within the urban oasis of Eccleston Yards, the 50-cover restaurant takes inspiration from the Kings Cross site, with pops of green and yellow in a pop-arty feel, contrasting with exposed brickwork, high-top tables, and an open kitchen with a Neapolitan Scugnizzonapoletano pizza oven.

Happy Face Pizza will also offer delivery via Deliveroo and collection for those looking to tuck into their delicious pizzas at work or the comfort of their own home.
