PA Life Club: Penelope Alice heads to Chanel’s studio with Fello and Sixt

Getting the chance to have your make-up or nails done, while sampling some fantastic fizz and getting the chance to network certainly is my idea of a great night with colleagues and peers, and that’s just what me and some PA Life Club members got to enjoy this week.

We headed to the Chanel studio in Spitalfields Market, where travel management company Fello and Sixt car hire where on hand to showcase their services.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a giant red Chanel perfume bottle promoting the new limited-edition Chanel No5 – it’s a dreamy scent that we got to try out. After entering, a Chanel member of staff booked us in for our appointment to either enjoy a make-up masterclass or a manicure. I opted to get my make-up done – as a huge fan of the Chanel beauty collection I couldn’t resist this opportunity.

During the evening we were supplied with some canapés, fizz and some delicate chocolates, while we all got the chance to network with representatives from Fello and Sixt. As an assistant I am often tasked with booking business travel and organising our corporate travel needs, so it was a great chance for me to get face-to-face with these key industry members to discuss how we can work together.

Each Club member was also given the opportunity to enter a prize draw; unfortunately, I didn’t get to take home any of the exceptional prizes, but I would like to say congratulations to the two members who did; Mary Ghorah who took home a luxury chauffeur drive return within London courtesy of Sixt and Bernadine Hunt who won a £100 Chanel voucher and a bottle of prosecco courtesy of Fello.

If that wasn’t enough, we were offered a goodie bag upon departure, which consisted of a Chanel travel bag, a mini mascara and perfume – I can’t wait to try these out and use the bag on my next travels.

It was great to be a part of such a glamorous evening, while also being able to discuss new business with such reputable travel companies. Thank you to Fello, Sixt and Chanel for putting on a fabulously memorable event
