Perkbox supports businesses with launch of Connectivity bundle

Employee experience platform Perkbox has announced the results of its free Connectivity bundle, which was launched early April 2020 to support its small business customers during the Coronavirus crisis.

The Connectivity bundle gives Perkbox SME customers free access to Perkbox Insights, Perkbox Recognition and Culture Hub until the end of 2020. Since its launch, just under 900 businesses have signed up for the bundle. A total of 26,067 users now have access to the tools to help them stay connected to their business during this critical time.

With many small businesses now operating entirely remotely for the first time in their history, it’s more important than ever that businesses feel connected to their employees and employees, in return, feel heard and informed. Perkbox wanted to provide a free solution designed to build morale and support communication between teams.

Businesses across a range of industries have been using Culture Hub, a company-wide noticeboard, to share Coronavirus related policy updates and company news with their employees. While others are using Recognition to praise employees remotely, and Insights to send tailored remote working surveys to help understand the steps they can take to improve the wellbeing and productivity of their staff.

Aside from small businesses, Perkbox is also offering wider support to its customer base including offering Perkbox Medical as a perk on the platform providing access to an online GP and prescription delivery. A ‘Thank You Thursday’ campaign has also been launched to support those in the care industry, with all Perkbox users in this sector being entered into a weekly prize draw and each organisation winning a prize.

Saurav Chopra, CEO and Co-founder of Perkbox said: “In these unprecedented times, I believe it is essential for every business to do what it possibly can to support its customers and their employees. We believe the Connectivity bundle will really help bring employees together and keep them happy, healthy and productive.”

Adele McMeekin, Business Support Manager at Fios Genomics and Perkbox customer added: “Fios Genomics added the Connectivity Bundle to our Perkbox platform to help maintain and improve employee engagement while all our staff are remote working, due to COVID-19 restrictions.

“We used Polls within Perkbox Recognition as part of our virtual “Bake Off” competition – a bit of fun during these unusual times! A poll for each category of the competition was created and the winner of each poll was awarded a prize using Perkbox Rewards. The polls were extremely easy to set up and for people to place their votes. The award prizes (eg. food delivery voucher) were emailed directly to the winners and much appreciated by the recipients.

“Last week we also used Perkbox Insights to create a Remote Working survey to check-in with all staff. We will use the feedback to take any necessary steps required to help improve staff wellbeing and productivity. Overall, we are pleased to have the opportunity to add the Connectivity Bundle to our Perkbox platform to support our employee engagement activities.”
