Park Plaza hotels has prepared for the safe return of meetings, events and conference clients with the launch of its dedicated ‘Reassuring Meetings & Events’ programme: designed to enhance the robust safety measures already in place across its estate.
With companies starting to look at how they can bring their teams back together again, and look to the future, Park Plaza know how important it is to offer a safe and reassuring environment, as well as offering flexible terms and conditions, including cancellation and payment policies, so we can all get back to business.
The ‘Reassuring Meetings & Events’ programme has been developed to provide safe, secure and flexible environments, ideal for retraining teams, working sessions, creative planning, hybrid events and much more.
Developed alongside Radisson Hotel Group’s 10-step protocol and SGS certification, ‘Reassuring Meetings & Events’ has the health and wellbeing of team members and guests at its heart and is an extension to the brand’s existing ‘Reassuring Moments’ initiative that was introduced in 2020 in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Park Plaza also participates in Radisson Meetings.
In addition to the free Wi-Fi, high-quality audio-visual equipment, and hybrid solutions available in all properties, contactless experiences have also been introduced at the majority of hotels to reduce touch points and provide both organisers and attendees with peace of mind and a sense of ease.
All meetings, events and conference clients will be assigned an experienced Event Planner who will work with them to safely plan and deliver their event from the set-up, addressing precise requirements so that clients can plan for the future with confidence – whether preparing to retrain employees ahead of their return to work or rescheduling major events put on hold due to the pandemic.
In line with local government guidelines, further safety measures including temperature checks and hand sanitising stations have been introduced, in addition to increased cleaning and disinfection of all areas (with particular attention to high-touch items). Revised capacities, instructions, and routing in all spaces will also be in place to maintain social distancing measures.
Manuel Martinez Infante, Director of Groups, Meetings & Events, commented: “The health and wellbeing of our clients and team members is of paramount importance to us. This programme has been developed as an extension to the existing robust safety procedures we created for our ‘Reassuring Moments’ programme last year. We understand the concerns and challenges our MICE clients will be experiencing and hope that the considerable measures we’ve put in place, alongside our flexible cancellation and payment policies, will both reassure and instil confidence that their event will still be of the highest standard, supported by enhanced and rigorous standards.”
