Venues of Excellence welcomes Hospitality Digital Services as an Affiliate Member

Venues of Excellence (VoE) has confirmed the latest Affiliate Member to the consortium’s Preferred Partner Programme – Hospitality Digital Services.

The consortium has over 15 companies providing products and services to the hospitality industry within their programme, with Hospitality Digital Services (HDS) the latest company to sign up to network with our member venues.

Stewart Elsmore, Venues of Excellence Board Director who heads up the Preferred Partner team, said: “Over the past 12 months we have supported our members through the pandemic and have been mindful of the new businesses that have developed their services for the hospitality industry on its road to recovery.  Hospitality Digital Services offers a plethora of hotel and restaurant digital services which we believe positions venues at the forefront of technology within the industry.  We are delighted to have the opportunity to welcome HDS into the Venues of Excellence family and look forward to engaging our members with HDS through our business networking.”

HDS already work with a number of Venues of Excellence Members, which it says is key to the introduction to the wider membership through the preferred partner programme. VoE says it asks its members to recommend companies they work with who they believe are at the top of their sector and who would benefit from networking with member venues.

Emma Chamberlain, Head of Sales and Marketing, Imago Venues, said: “We were very pleased to nominate HDS as a preferred partner for the VoE consortium. Membership of the group is all about the sharing of best practice and, given the pandemic-shaped atomic bomb that hit our industry, we felt that HDS Concierge Hub system somewhat came to our rescue. Hospitality is all about serving people and so, being thrust into a way of operating contactlessly and without that personal touch, posed a significant challenge. Their product differs from others in that it’s not app based, and everything can be done on people’s own devices with speed and ease. The backend system also works really well and is flexible enough to integrate with all the usual Epos providers. But more importantly than that, they get the industry. They have the knowledge and experience of how hospitality works and what venues need from a system. They seek out feedback on the product and make changes quickly and with no disruption. They are great people, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to fellow members.”

Gareth Winterton, Managing Director, on signing the Affiliate Partnership with Venues of Excellence, said: “HDS is delighted to collaborate with Venues of Excellence in what is a crucial time for the hospitality industry. Our customers and their businesses are at the heart of all we do, and to partner with a consortium such as Venues of Excellence with similar values and ethos as ourselves is extremely exciting. Adopting new technologies and moving into app-less solutions is playing a vital part in getting the hospitality industry moving again, and as a business we are delighted to share how our solutions can aid venues now and in the future.”

As the industry starts to open its doors to clients once again, Venues of Excellence says it hopes to welcome more partners into the Preferred Partner Programme offering.
