Puttshack tees up its sites in preparation for August reopening

Indoor mini golf experience Puttshack is preparing to reopen its venues from August, starting with its White City site, which will be available to visit from August 8th, followed by its Lakeside venue later in the month.

Guests will be able to make bookings from August 3rd, and the site will open with a number of Covid secure measures in place, ensuring the safety of their team and guests whilst continuing to provide a great competitive socialising experience.

For both guests and team members, a number of protocols have been implemented in-venue. Team members will be wearing branded masks, will receive temperature checks before every shift and regular handwashing throughout the day will be a standard requirement. Hand sanitiser will also be readily available throughout all venues, and clubs and golf balls will be cleaned after every use.

For guests planning to have a round of mini golf, several procedures have been put in place to adhere to guidelines and keep them safe whilst spending time in-venue, which include:

  • Bookings of up to six people maximum permitted
  • Guests will be required to register their team online, enabling contactless check-in
  • Guests are advised to turn up 30 minutes before the start time for a completely contactless check
  • For those planning to have drinks or a meal either before or after their game, guests will be able to simply scan a QR code with their phone and order food straight to their table.

On the reopening, Hugh Knowles, Chief Development Officer said: โ€œPuttshack has always focused on delivering a great, vibrant experience, something that we feel our guests need now more than ever. However, we wanted to ensure we had the right protocols and procedures in place so that our teams and guests can return safely, whilst being able to have fun and reconnect with friends and family. Unlike traditional mini golf operators, our technology allows us to easily implement social distancing on the courses whilst providing the same good, clean, and fun environment our guests are accustomed to experiencing at Puttshack. Although the last few months have been incredibly challenging, weโ€™re really excited to pick up our putters again, get back on the course and welcome guests back.โ€

Puttshack has also signed up to the Governmentโ€™s Eat Out to Help Out scheme which will be available to guests that dine on the premises. The initiative will offer a 50% reduction, up to a maximum of ยฃ10 per person throughout August.
