Friday fun: Super Human Resources

talkRADIO launches Badass Women's Hour

Looking for a bit of light reading to pick up on your lunch break? Comics aren’t everybody’s “thing”, but publisher Action Lab is set to print a new series based on its storyline about a human resources temp who works for a group of bumbling superheroes called Super Human Resources.

The story is about Tim, a HR temp who has already thwarted bankruptcy and fought off an office machine robot uprising while trying to deal with the clumsy superheroes surrounding him. It takes a light-hearted look at the world of masked crusaders and puts it into real-life context by examining what goes on behind the scenes at superhero organisations – all for the sake of a good laugh.

Comic book and entertainment news site Newsarama interviewed Super Human Resources Writer/Creator Ken Marcus, who said: “If you’ve ever read a comic book and if you’ve ever had a terrible job, then don’t worry. You’re already up to speed.”

The first series of comics is available to buy at comic stores or on Amazon and the second series will be released later this year.
