Join IAM at its Mental Health Awareness event

Next month, the Institute of Administrative Managements (IAM) is hosting an event to mark Mental Health Awareness Day.

Taking place on May 17 at the Wesley Hotel, London, from 6 to 8pm, the discussion will look at understanding what mental distress is, how it occurs and the effect it has on individuals, families and the workplace.

Francis McGinty, behavioural change expert will talk about the early symptoms of stress and how you can spot them, as well as, the causes of stress, your personal responsibility and what you can do to manage your own pressures.

Other key points include being able to recognise the individual signs of mental distress in both self and other, understanding how stress negatively affects both short and long term health and how psychological risk management can provide a positive outcome for all stakeholders.

The event costs £15 (including VAT) for members. Non-members can register for £20 by clicking here.
