JUNE 21ST EVENTS REBOOT: Exclusive Collection and KDM champion outdoor teambuilding post Covid-19

After a challenging 12 months, with much of business life lived through a lens as teams work remotely, corporates are looking for a fast-track way to reboot company culture and boost team morale, whilst recognising the importance of re-committing to workforce wellbeing. With this growing need to create opportunities for social interaction and support, Exclusive Collection and KDM are working together to champion the importance of teambuilding in the great outdoors to help employees with their physical and mental wellbeing and sense of belonging.

Working in partnership with Exclusive, KDM has a number of new packages available that will make the most the nation’s appreciation for the great outdoors by utilising Exclusive Collection’s grounds across its six countryside locations. From Game Your Thrones where teams rotate around activity zones to gain valuable time ahead of the Wild Fire Finale to a Ninja Workout with teams being put through their paces in a series of fun challenges, these activities utilise expansive outside space and give organisations the perfect opportunity to re-engage with their workforce and reboot company culture.

Stephanie Hall, Group Director of Sales & Marketing at Exclusive Collection, said: “We’re excited to be working with KDM on these teambuilding activities across our hotels that champion social interaction and support in the great outdoors. The aftermath of the first lockdown highlighted our instinct to team up, collaborate and come back together to strengthen relationships and we expect this to be heightened as lockdown 3.0 eases. These teambuilding activities are a fast-track, but effective way to re-engage employees, re-commit to workforce wellbeing and reboot company culture as we all embark on our new normal.”

Sarah FitzGerald, Director of Partnerships at KDM, said: “We expect outdoor activities to be in high demand come the summer months as employees will be chomping at the bit to see each other and interact face-to-face, and potentially meet colleagues for the first time in the case of many new starters. After such a challenging 12 months, we expect the initial emphasis to be on fun and reconnection from a social perspective. Getting teams together, challenging them and indulging in fun and laughter will help build stronger relationships, encourage communication and boost morale as organisations navigate new ways of doing business post Covid-19.”

KDM has a range of packages available at Exclusive Collections six Covid-secure hotels, including Country Sports, Game Your Thrones, Ninja Workout and Wiped Out. Find out more here.
