Events are a tried and tested method for organisations to reach and engage with their audiences. With today’s demanding event clients and their guests always expecting a high-quality experience, creating that memorable event – for all the right reasons – is no easy task. So how do you deliver that wow event, on time, every time? Chris Powell, The Event Expert is on hand at the PA Life Training Day to teach PAs how to plan the perfect event.

Chris is Director of The Event Expert and has been designing, planning and delivering events for the past 21 years. He has helped a wide range of businesses, associations and public sector officers develop the ideas, skills and confidence to go it alone and run their own events. His courses and coaching programmes have been delivered to major corporates, public bodies, UK and European training companies, tourism and marketing agencies and individuals. Chris is also author of How to deliver outstanding corporate events.

Chris’s session will cover everything from planning and marketing events to finding a venue and designing the space. He’ll also talk about developing a programme for the day, how to promote your event to encourage attendance and production of the actual event, as well as how to manage the people involved.

The next PA Life Training Day takes place on 22 June at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel. Attendees can choose from a half-day programme for £175+VAT, or a full day for £295+VAT. There are also discounts available for PA Life Club members and groups of three or more. For more information or to register as a delegate, visit
