Connecting and inspiring colleagues – why team-building remains a priority for business

The past year has seen all businesses face unprecedented challenges – and not least when it comes to keeping teams connected when they’re all working from home.

And while restrictions may be slowly lifting, we are still a few good weeks from when ‘in person’ events are allowed; perhaps even longer before people are comfortable with getting together again en masse.

Thankfully, many events companies have adapted well, to provide great team-building options in the virtual world. And, according to PA Life’s recent reader survey, some 60 per cent of PAs and EAs have listed team-building as an important activity for them and their teams during lockdown.

In addition, 55 per cent of them are now looking for new team-building suppliers and activities for the months ahead.

To that end, throughout this month we have highlighted a selection of creative options available to help you provide some great experiences for your teams and colleagues.

Team Building Experiences has a range of options available to suit all tastes and budgets.

For puzzles and cryptic quizzes, check out The Virtual Labyrinth. Murder mystery experiences and escape rooms are a speciality of Unpuzzled. And, as the name suggests, The Cooking Academy can provide some tasty options.

Meanwhile, as we look ahead to when things begin to look more normal, Inspire Me Travel can offer tailor-made overseas team-building and sales incentives for those wishing to embrace new experiences.
