Have you already quit your New Year’s diet?

None of our PA Life Twitter followers have vowed to stick to their New Year’s diet for the entire year.

It’s January 4, 2019 – that’s right we’re already four days into the New Year and we have been inundated with ideas to help people diet, quit smoking and even take part in the dreaded dry January.

I had every intention of stopping consuming a daily biscuit at my desk with my cup of tea, which lasted all about two hours into my first day back in the office this week.

But, the team at PA Life wanted to know how well our readers have fared this first week back. Via a Twitter poll we asked whether you have already quite your New Year’s diet?


50 per cent of our Twitter followers said they only lasted one day (you did better than me at least!), while 50 per cent of you claimed you hadn’t succumbed to temptation, despite missing the sweet taste of chocolate.

It’s fantastic to see that none of you failed on the first day of January, however zero per cent of you have vowed to stick to your New Year’s diet in 2019.

Now, I’m about to tuck into another biscuit!
