WorkSpa at Home launches to boost lockdown welfare

Wellbeing specialist WorkSpa has launched a new innovative strand of services called ‘WorkSpa at Home’, providing companies with a programme of weekly video content which will encompass everything employees need to help manage their welfare whilst working from home during the Covid19 crisis.

The new weekly learning sessions will cover core topics around mental well-being and musculoskeletal care, with highly skilled practitioners leading each session trained in physiotherapy, mindfulness and yoga.

WorkSpa’s new service has been developed due to the large percentage of people now juggling many roles at home, and with these uncertain times, stress levels will have increased. This has inspired founder Grace Graham to design and diversify her services, with the 10-minute effective bite-size learning sessions enabling employees to fit it around their new circumstances, helping organisations retain a sense of community and care.

She said: “We want to take into account how the dynamic of originations has changed, not being able to work as closely with our colleagues will have an effect on how we work. WorkSpa at Home will help organisations maintain a sense of community and well-being. I’ve spoken to at least 60% of my client base and everyone is enthusiastic to see how they can adapt and continue to support their clients at this time. Employers are showing a lot of interest which is fantastic.”

WorkSpa at Home becomes the second strand of services from the company, which was founded in 2016 with support from The Princes Trust. WorkSpa helps companies improve productivity, work satisfaction and wellbeing of employees through regular on-site massage therapy, with expert practitioners going into offices all over the country including businesses such as HSBC, Teletext Holidays, Uniquest, Wayfair, and Fujitsu, to name just a few.

Grace’s belief in holistic services comes from her own experience of not being supported at work when going through exceptionally challenging times. Grace has since become a Young Ambassador for The Prince’s Trust and in 2018 won the Mappin and Webb Young Ambassador of the Year Award. Grace has also appeared on Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast recognising her as an exceptional role model to others through the sharing of her personal experiences, struggles and successes.
